An annual event that adds a festive spirit to Irvington while promoting interaction between residents and businesses.
For the past 18 years, the Irvington Business Association has presented the Irvington Holiday Open House as both a celebration of the festive period and an opportunity to promote local businesses. With events from gingerbread house displays to scenic trolley tours, and special holiday hours at retailers throughout the neighborhood, this event represented a powerful opportunity for community engagement that didn’t have the widespread recognition it deserved. A lack of recognizable branding harmed the Open House’s profile, and lessened the impact it could have within the community. With a newly formed partnership with Naptown Branding, Open House Management hoped to bring new levels of notoriety to the event in 2017 and beyond.
In order to overhaul the Open House’s image and set their public image up for success, Naptown Branding crafted and implemented a complete brand overhaul. From a new logo design, to social media graphics and physical support collateral, we provided the Open House with a new and noticeable visual identity. A series of eblasts, designed and listed in-house and aimed at driving traffic to the event’s Facebook page, drove increased traffic and awareness of the event. During the event, Snapchat users were able to engage with a custom-designed filter for a multimedia touch to set off the many excellent events on offer. With a newly–cohesive brand identity, the Irvington Holiday Open House enjoyed a successful 2017 and is poised to continue successfully in 2018 and beyond.
