Irvington Development Organization (IDO)

A nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the culture and beauty of the Irvington community, while promoting economic growth for local businesses.

Situation:

When the Irvington Development Organization (IDO) first partnered with Naptown Branding, their footprint within the community left much to be desired. While dedicated to a noble cause and regularly providing important resources to residents and business owners, they wished to become more visible. Their then-current website was not easy to navigate and didn’t allow for management to publish or make necessary, regular updates. Naptown Branding began our relationship with a promise: to bring IDO to Irvington.

Solution:

Naptown Branding immediately went to work for IDO, putting our web development expertise to work in order to develop a manageable site filled with the resources and community information IDO wanted to implement, laid out in intuitively. With a web presence capable of meeting demand, we then designed and printed physical collateral materials including postcards and flags to give IDO a noticeable presence within the community. By creatively managing the planning and implementation of a local event called the Harvest Gala fundraiser, we helped IDO boost their brand knowledge and engagement among Irvington residents. With help from Naptown Branding, IDO is poised to continue helping Irvington expand well into the future.

Naptown Branding redesigned our website to make it more effective as a communication platform. It took considerable “cat wrangling” to get the staff and volunteers to provide the content and feedback, and they did it all with good humor, patience, and most importantly gentle  persistence.
